Range Resources 2000 Turkeys Food Drive happening today Help the Greater Washington County Food Bank support our neighbors this Thanksgiving 6 0 2 Cash or Credit Accepted RANGE Range Resources has joined forces once again with WJPA Radio and the Observer-Reporter for the fourth annual 2000 Turkeys Food Drive in downtown Washington, PA. Starting at 8:00 a.m. and continuing through 4:00 p.m today, Range employees will be stationed on street corners throughout the downtown area, taking donations from drivers and passers-by. The group has also set up shop at the Main Street Farmers Market Pavilion right across the street from the downtown Washington offices of the Observer-Reporter. Since Range began the Food Drive in 2015, with the support of the community and generous service company partners, the company has been able to help raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for 2000 Turkeys and the Greater Washington County Food Bank. This year's goal is $100,000 to help provide Thanksgiving and holiday meals to thousands of Washington County families in need. With every $15 raised, the Food Bank is able to feed a family of four at Thanksgiving. Green Beans Non-perishable food items can be dropped off today at the Farmers Market Pavilion, and the group will also accept donations in the form of cash, checks and credits cards for 2000 Turkeys.
