Crossroads Mower Center was founded in 1958 by Tom Sapolio, Sr. Crossroads Mower Center sells and service various types of equipment including trimmers, chainsaws, snow plows, generators, tractors, snow throwers, leaf blowers, walk-behind mowers and truck attachments. In 1960, Sapolio bought Vitte's, which was a hardware store that serviced and sold mowers.

Around 1970, the business name changes to what we know it as now "Crossroads Mower Center." At that time, the business was located behind the old Pizza Hut restaurant which is now present day Walgreens. In 1989, Sapolio moved the business to 611 E. McMurray Road. There was an expansive warehouse built to their existing location to hold more of their inventory.

Their store front carry brands such as Toro, Echo, Snapper, Shindaiwa, Lawn Boy, Billy Goat as well as Simplicity, Ferris and Wright commercial products. Sapolio now has his son, Thomas Sapolio, Jr., to help with running the business. Together they have contributed to the longevity of the company. They have employed a staff that is courteous and professional that will help you upon entrance to the store.
