pet week of the BOSCO Bosco, a 10 year-old Hound mix, was found as a stray. Upon intake to WAHS, our medical team discovered that Bosco was suffering from severe mange. His skin was irritated, swollen, and bald, yet all he wanted to do was give kisses! Since being at WAHS, Bosco has undergone treatment for mange and is no longer contagious. Our medical team believes that because he had gone so long without medical attention his hair will most likely not grow back. To help his skin heal, Bosco receives daily medication and a weekly medicated bath. Bosco is now hoping to find a family of his own. He loves to play, lay his head in your lap, walks well on leash, and knows how to "sit" for treats.
