pet Week of the JUJU Meet JuJu! He is a four-year-old, Domestic Shorthair, Orange and White Tabby. He is a handsome guy who loves to observe and people watch from his condo! He is extremely friendly and loving, and is hoping he can finally find his forever home. JuJu is FIV positive. FIV stands for feline immunodeficiency virus just as HIV stands for human immunodeficiency virus. Many cats with FIV go on to live long and happy lives. The major route of virus transmission is through bites that can occur during fighting or play. That said, per our Veterinarian's instruction, it is important JuJu is the only cat in the house, unless other cats are FIV+ as well. The feline immunodeficiency virus is not transmissible to humans or dogs in any way. Based on JuJu's outgoing personality, we think he would enjoy a doggy companion, and he gets along with other cats! To leam more about JuJu or make an appointment to meet him, please call our Cat Department at 724-222-PETS ext. 105!
