Adelphoi Reflection Resiliency. Renewal. FOSTER FAMILY RECRUITER Are you looking for a rewarding position to help us find foster families for youth who need temporary support? Adelphoi Village is seeking to grow their team by hiring a compassionate, dedicated person as a full-time Kinship Family Recruiter. Duties include: Travel to family homes in surrounding counties to inform them about Foster care. Assesses family's ability to meet Foster family expectations. Flexible hours: schedules sessions when both youth and families are available. Ability to work a Hybrid Schedule (Mix of Office and Home hours) Builds a pool of qualified families that can be available to the organization and associated public agencies. Markets program through ads, internet sourcing, social media, community groups, newsprint, churches, social organizations, and other channels Maintains files electronically following established tracking methods. Assists in creating a recruitment plan and executes plan tasks to reach target objectives. Contacts and engages families, sends recruiting information, determines interest, conducts pre- qualification due diligence, and schedules home site visits. Prepares formal paperwork and works with families to determine final licensure status. Ensures all paperwork is properly filed and maintained. Trains families on the principles of crisis management and trauma-informed care and other training requirements. Applies spreadsheets, slide presentations, and other desktop technologies in a manner that enhances the efficient use of data. Maintains family files. Adds additional information as needed to keep status current Adelphoi Village, headquartered in Latrobe, has more than 600 committed team members delivering residential, community, and educational support services to youth in need. We have a 50-year history of collaboration with local children and youth agencies, school districts, and the juvenile justice systems.
