The Washington-Greene Association of REALTORS® (WGAR) has proudly served the real estate professionals of Washington and Greene counties in Southwestern Pennsylvania and the public since 1925. WGAR is The Voice of Real Estate in our counties, and on behalf of our more than 350 members and affiliates, we welcome you to our spectacular website!

What a truly unique community we represent. Washington County was born amidst the throes of the American Revolution, established in 1781 and named for the honorable “father of our country” George Washington. Greene County ceded from Washington County in 1796. We are rich in history, education, recreation and opportunity. Within our boundaries you will find Meadowcroft, the oldest archeological site in the North American continent, as evidence of the timeless attraction to our beautiful land.

Today we are pleased with our strong economic growth. Southpointe business and residential park, Tanger Outlet Mall, the Casino and Racetrack expansion, Trinity Pointe shopping area, countless new restaurants and hotels continue to pop up. The discovery of the rich Marcella Shale and natural gas exploration along with our coal reserves yet untapped have allowed Washington and Greene counties to continue to prosper.
