Passionate about BBQ! That is the only way to describe them. Frank Puskarich and his wife Kathleen, both coming from the restaurant business, spent a lot of time wondering what it would be like to open their own BBQ joint in their hometown. And so it was, in the year 2005, they started to experiment in their very own driveway with the help of their good friend and partner, Chef Josef Karst, from Germany. Quickly, the BBQ team adapted their recipes and products according to the taste of their friends, family, mailmen, countless UPS drivers and buddies from the truck pull community as they invited them to sample their newest and latest combination of smoke house flavors. Frank and Kathy soon found themselves on the road to greet a broader audience and share what became the true essence of “Hog father’s Old Fashioned BBQ.” It didn’t take long for Hog father’s to nestle in at 1301 Jefferson Avenue in Little Washington, PA where countless patrons enjoy the reality of a BBQ dream every day.
Since their opening in March of 2007, Hog father’s has been recognized throughout the BBQ community with several awards including Best Ribs, Best Pulled Pork and THE #1 Mac & Cheese far and wide!
