The Springtlouse milk comes from the backside of the Springtlouse farm, produced by the 130 happy cows that hang out in the free stall barn over the hill. Those cows are fed a steady (continuous!) diet of free- range corn silage. ground com. vitamins and minerals, haylage, and grain, along with 50 gallons of water per day.per eow! Did you knowa cow only sleeps 28 minutes a day? But our cows sure spend a lot of time lying around chewing their cud and soaking up the fresh air in their freshly bedded stalls. l free stall barn means they are free to eat, sleep, drink, or push other cows around whenever they want! Brother Sam and his guys work hard to keep the whole herd healthy and happy, to breed them on time, to care for their every need, and to keep their faeilities clean and sparkly to produce the best possible product they can.
