Mia and Braden (Sam's youngest two, the last ones in 4-H1) showed their market hogs last already, so they're now on to scrubbing and finishing clipping their Dairy cows and heifers. Both are doing the clipping contest and the showmanship and fitting contest with their Jerseys and Red & White Holsteins, and trying to keep everybody (animals) Jed and watered and clean for the whole week too. Then at the bottom of the hill. The Springflouse red barn booth is humming with all kinds of gummies! This year's new items are Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler and lee Cream and ripple Crumb Pie and lee Cream with Warm Cinnamon sauce. Mmmm-I think I need some of both of those right now!!! Cool The Store Must Go On... Did you get that funny there? "The show must go on..." I crack myself up sometimes! Anyway, we are so thankful for our amazing SpringHouse erew who can bounce from serving all of you to dipping ice cream concoctions at the fair to making box lunches for catering to almost everything going on here (no cow milking for store folks though).
