GOOD BYE FROM DR. FOX To my dear patients and friends, They say all good things must come to an end. It is with mixed emotions that I must announce my retirement from practicing medicine after 40 years of service. I have spent the last few months weighing the decision, but my current health status has unfortunately forced me to close this chapter of my life. I have very much enjoyed serving Washington County over the years in my own practice and most recently at the North Main Washington Health System location. To my patients: thank you for the trust, the loyalty, the stories, memories but most importantly, your friendship. So many of you have sent well wishes and expressed hope that I would return soon. Please understand that my desire to continue providing medical care for you has made this retirement decision much more difficult. To my staff: thank you for your help and devotion throughout the years. Whether our time was short or long term, it is my hope that working with me helped you grow in some way in your career. I wish you all the best. Most importantly, to my wife, Cindy. You were the heartbeat of my practice and my career. You gave up your own dreams so I could accomplish mine. Ihope you know just how much I appreciate everything you have done to help me serve the patients in the Washington community the best we could. The time has come for me to hang up my stethoscope and enjoy time with my family, especially my granddaughters. I wish you all well and thank you for entrusting me with your medical care.
